How durable is the 11th man?

The 11th man are very durable and can be used for a long time as long as you take good care of them and use them as intended.  DO NOT tackle, body slam, drop on the ground, or use for target practice.  Store the 11th man out of the sun or with the cover on it as the elements will break down the material faster and are not covered by the limited warranty.

Can I store the 11th man outside?

We recommend storing the 11th man inside and out of the sun if possible as sun and the elements always break down materials faster.  If you do store it outside leave it somewhere that's protected from the sun and with the storage cover on it.

My 11th man isn't holding air?

If your 11th man isn't holding air make sure to try filling again and check the valve is twisted on all the way tight as it will leak if not perfectly on.

If its left out for a while and is cold outside the 11th man will lose some air as well and you'll need to top it off by blowing into the top portion of the valve a couple times.

If its very hot outside in the sun, it will increase in air and you may need to let a little air out of it to to maintain the proper amount of inflation.

Over longer periods of time it will lose small amounts of air so you will need to top it off every few weeks or so which takes about 10 seconds.

If none of the above work reach out to us here and we'll get you taken care of.

My 11th man defender isn't bouncing back?

If your 11th man isn't balancing and popping back up each time that usually means you need to add more water/sand into the base to increase the balancing weight. If you've already done that then make sure your dummy is fully inflated 100% as under inflated dummies won't bounce back up.

How much water should I fill in the base of the 11th man dummy?

Fill the bottom with enough water so it balances and pops back up after being hit. It's usually around 70% full for water (3-4 gallons) 30 lbs.

Can I leave the water or sand in the base of the 11th man defender?

Yes we recommend just leaving the weight in the bottom so you don't have to refill it all the time. Be sure not to let the water freeze in the base of the 11th man as damage can occur.
